The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team are now the proud owners of a 2021 Dodge Truck , and a new ARGO all season four wheel drive vehicle, which will allow team members to access areas that cannot be reached with standard vehicles. The purchase of both units were funded from the sale of surplus equipment, as well as a $2,000 donation from the Fergus family, $10,000 from T/C Energy and $7,500 from Enbridge Energy through their community investment grant programs, and $7,500 gaming compact monies from Lac Vieux Desert Tribe in Watersmeet.
