A long term investigation in Gogebic County and Iron County has resulted in an arrest for suspected drug activity. According to the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team, Jesse Raye Matusewic was arrested last week in Wakefield on multiple arrest warrants. When he was arrested, he was carrying a concealed weapon and methamphetamine and other controlled substances. He also had an 800 mhz radio, commonly used by law enforcement and emergency services. He was taken to the Gogebic County Jail in Bessemer, and was arraigned on 5 felony charges and one misdemeanor charge. He received a $50,000 bond.
