Local School Business Makes Its Mark on Local Trails

As part of the Hurley High School Northwood’s Manufacturing program, signage created by senior Ross Neimi marks the trailhead of the newly opened trail from Casey Sag Road to Foster Falls. Neimi designed and crafted the signage of cedar with industry grade wood carving equipment at the school. The trailhead sign was commissioned by Laura Bethany Thomas of the Wisconsin Master Naturalist program, which is a volunteer-led conservation program based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
