THE UNOFFICIAL START TO SUMMER HAPPENS IN PERSON THIS YEAR
Memorial Day events are returning to the area. Ironwood will begin the day with a 10am parade from the Memorial Building down McLeod Avenue to Suffolk Street and North to Ayer Street where wreaths will be presented with buglers, then continuing west to Lowell Street, North to Broadway and the mausoleum at Riverside Cemetary. The Bessemer American Legion Post 27 and VFW Post 3673 will host a 9am service at Hillcrest Cemetary. The high school band will provide music with refreshments to follow at the Legion post.
