SCHOOL FINDS A WAY TO STAY ACTIVE DESPITE PANDEMIC
With in-person learning at schools put on hold due to the pandemic and changing restrictions over the last few months, students at Wakefield-Marenisco K-12 School have still been able to have phys ed by playing disc golf , a cross between golf and frisbee. There are nine stations on the school grounds for play and students start their course from different points so there’s plenty of social distancing and safety from stray frisbees. Despite virtual learning, kids have still been able to complete their phys-ed requirements, video recording their sessions and turning them in to teachers.
