PLANS FOR THE GOGEBIC COUNTY FAIR CONTINUE
Although contingencies for the pandemic are still a consideration, the Gogebic County Fair Board continues to figure out the plan for this year’s fair scheduled for August. The board reports the budgets for marketing and sponsorship as well as entertainment are still not at their target goals, and non profit requests for free both space have been tabled until the June meeting so a determination of what space will be available can be made. Apparel, merchandising, and signage were also discussed, as well as pandemic safety protocol, which is still a concern.
