MARIJUANA RETAIL AND GROWING PLANS MOVE INTO THE NEXT PHASE.
The Ironwood Planning Commission reviewed proposed site plans for a retail store and a marijuana growing location during their meeting at the beginning of the month. The Commission also approved two previously reviewed plans for a similar operation that will now move to the competitive scoring phase. Tom Bergman, director of Ironwood Community Development said that the city would like to have the planning commission and the city commission conduct a joint meeting with city council approval for the consideration and public hearing process to happen sometime late this month or early next.
