LOCAL HIGHWAYS TO BE USED FOR TRAIL ACCESS
The Iron County Highway Department Committee recommended approval of use of all terrain, utility terrain and off road vehicles on two area highways. The use of segments of state highways 169 from US 2 to Vogues Road and state highway 122 from county highway B to the Michigan state line as connection segments with area trail systems. The recommendation will need to go before the Iron County Board of Commissioners at their meeting on the 25th for consideration, and then will be forwarded to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for final authorization.
