IRONWOOD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORP. MEETS FOR WORK SESSION
Development goals and projects were discussed during the meeting of the Ironwood Economic Development Corporation. Certification of zoning ordinances, establishment of a tax increment financing district for Downtown Ironwood, and the comprehensive plan were all focuses of attention. Work is ongoing with the marketing outreach and education for hospitality industries. A COVID-19 business update was given, with all restaurants in the area being notified of the opening of the federal Restaurant Revitalization program that opens on Monday. Site plan and conditional use permit reviews for adult use marijuana growing establishment licensing were addressed and it was decided that consideration of applications should be done by June.
