Bessemer Township Switches Back to Charter Spectrum for Internet Service

BESSEMER TOWNSHIP BACK TO WHERE IT STARTED, HOPEFULLY WITH BETTER RESULTS

After switching its internet service to a new provider in March, Bessemer Township will be switching back to Charter Spectrum. Internet service provided by ATT since the switch has been poor at best, with Monday’s township meeting called off due to issues with streaming. Staff has been unable to read emails and print documents among other issues, and with elections the town cannot have the possibility of issues with online registration. With the change back to Charter, Bessemer will be upgrading its service speed from 100 mb/ps to 600 mb/ps, a substantial increase.
