WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY STUDENTS GET TO “SLIME” THE DEAN.

Students at Washington Elementary were rewarded for their fundraising efforts in the Kids Heart Challenge put on by the American Heart Association. The annual challenge encourages kids to practice heart healthy behaviors while raising money for the American Heart Association. The goal this year was $1500 but students raised $2353, which mean they were able to collect on the reward of “sliming” their Dean of Instruction Mark Switzer. Switzer says he’s considering water balloons or a dunk tank event next month the celebrate the end of the school year.
