MINER’S MEMORIAL HERITAGE PARK EXPANSION APPROVED BY IRONWOOD CITY COMMMISSION
Miner’s Memorial Heritage Park will continue to expand thanks to a project recently approved by the Ironwood City Commission. A bid has been accepted to complete the mountain bike trail construction at the park. The project includes construction of a The second project will be to build a parking lot close to the municipal dog park on Bonnie Road andpump and hand cycle tracks, cross country and mountain bike trails, a boardwalk trail, trail signs and posts. A smaller parking area will also be built near the AmericInn Ironwood hotel on U.S. 2, with access to the Iron Belle Trail, and to a new connection trail to access Miners Park.
