Local Chapter of the Michigan Townships Association Finally Able to Meet Face to Face.
The Gogebic County Chapter of the Michigan Townships Association met in person at the Erwin Township Hall for the first time in six month and voted in four new officers, including a new position. Wakefield Township Supervisor Mandy Lake was elected the new chairperson. Members also voted to elect Erwin Township Supervisor Larry Grimsby to the new position as vice chairman, which is a change from the prior three officer format. Also elected, respectively, as GCMTA treasurer and secretary were Mary Graser and Mary Segalin, who also serve for the Ironwood Charter Township.
