IRON COUNTY BOARD SAYS YES TO PURCHASE OF GERMANIA HILL.
The Iron County Board of Supervisors has approved the purchase of two lots, that includes 127 Germania as part of the new route to the countie’s communication tower on Germania Hill. There are no current plans for road work in that area, the purchase is more in the line of making sure all ducks are in a row should the need ever arise. Even if the county doesn’t use the property for a road, it may still benefit, as the housing market is expected to continue to rise and both properties could be sold off. The two lots will be purchased by the county for $10,500 from the current owner, Kenneth Tilton.
