Iron County Board of Canvass Confirms the Spring Election
Tuesday’s election has been certifiedby the Iron County Board of Canvass. The three person board confirmed the results initially reported, with the exception of Sharon Ofstad getting a total of 163 votes in her write in bid for a seat on the Hurley School Board after she received a second vote in the town of Knight. A total of 1,501 votes were cast in the race for the state superintendent of public instruction and a total of 1,317 votes were cast in the court of appeals race on the ballot.
