HURLEY STUDENT BANDS ABLE TO PERFORM AFTER DONATON SPECIAL MASKS FOR INSTRUMENTS AND PLAYERS
Live musical performances are possible once again for the Hurley Junior and Senior High School bands. The band received a donation of $2500 from the Hurley Education Foundation to purchase special masks that allow band members to play wind instruments along with covers that prevent breath from circulating when it leaves the instruments. The band member masks are fitted to play mouth instruments. Although it took some time for band members to adjust to protective gear, the band was able to perform with them during the Spring Concert.
