Union Station Food Bank Distributes Food Boxes To Those In Need
The Union Station Food program distributed boxes of food for those in need, including those hit hard by COVID-19. Volunteers travel all around Ironwood and even visit surrounding towns to collect donated food, and then spend Saturday mornings assembling food boxes. Those in need can stop by the Union Station food bank every Saturday. The program’s director, Roger Kolehmainen says he’s amazed at the generosity of local residents. He also mentioned that the Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry will be in Ironwood to distribute goods on April 15th
