Two men have been arrested in connection with the sale of methamphetamine in Ontonagon. Upmatters.com says detectives from the Upper Peninsula Enforcement Team made the arrests this past Wednesday following a three month investigation based on information that the suspects had been distributing large amounts of methamphetamine. A traffic stop conducted by state troopers revealed that the suspects had hidden half a pound of meth and two pounds of marijuana in the engine compartment of their vehicle. The suspects names will not be released until they are arraigned in Ontonagon County District Court.
