The water report for the city of Ironwood shows the water supply is completely safe. The Daily Globe reports City Manager Scott Erickson said there is nothing out of the ordinary on the report. Residents with special concerns about drinking water should seek advice from their healthcare provider. Ironwood draws its water from two glacial aquifers that supply six wells. The city recently underwent a state approved wellhead protection plan to protect the water supply.Anyone with concerns about lead in their service lines are advised to let their taps run for at least 30 seconds.
