Iron County to Begin Road Work, Including Its’ First Roundabout

IRON COUNTY TO BEGIN ROAD WORK ON ITS FIRST ROUNDABOUT

Iron County Road work for the season is about to begin, including the construction of the county’s first roundabout. Work replacing the interchange between US2 and 51 with the new roundabout is scheduled to start in May and finish sometime in November, with holiday work restrictions expected for the Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. The work wil lbe done in stages in order to keep traffic moving. Access to business will be maintained with gravel driveways during the project. The project comes in at just under $4 million dollars.
