The President of Gogebic Community College says the decision to hold its graduation ceremonies virtually again this year was not an easy one. The Daily Globe reports George McNulty also said in a press release that the college was already hard at work to make sure that their ceremony was one to remember. McNulty also praised the graduating class, saying they’d persevered through a pandemic and have emerged stronger, wiser and bolder for it. Virtual commencement will be shown on YouTube and students will receive graduation boxes before the event with their cap and gown, diploma cover and other remembrances of the event. Both 2020 and 2021 grads will be included in 2022’s live, in person ceremony. For more information on graduation, contact the president’s office or email president@gogebic.edu.
