CITY COMMISSION BEGINS PLANNING FOR SPRING CLEANUP 2021
At a meeting of the City Commission earlier this week, the board discussed the possibility of having the spring cleanup as usual this year. Last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic. City Manager Scott Erickson said the usual one day event with high school Army JrROTC providing the labor would not be possible. The city has now decided to hold a cleanup that would span several days and would use self drop off event bins to be located behind the Ironwood Public Safety Department. The details need to be worked out, but thusfar the plan is to hold the event in late April and early May.
