Wisconsin 2021 Wolf Season Complete

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says all wolf harvest zones will soon be closed.
Zones 2, 5, and 6 closures are effective at 10 am this morning, and Zones 1, 3, and 4 will close at 3 pm on Wednesday, completing the 2021 season. The DNR reports that 82 wolves have been harvested since the season began Monday morning. This is an increase of 30 since the initial update. The 82 harvested is 69% of the statewide allocation of 119 wolves. The other 81 are allocated to the Ojibwe Tribes.
