Turtle Flambeau Flowage Ice Fishing Jamboree

The Turtle Flambeau Flowage Ice Fishing Jamboree is being held next weekend between Mercer and Butternut. This ice fishing tournament, held in memory of Claus Kraetke, is headquartered out of Donner’s Bay Resort on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage and will take place from 7am to 4pm on the 27th. Cash prizes will be given for the largest fish caught in several categories. Hot food, warm & cold beverages and tickets for many raffles will be available. Proceeds from the Jamboree go toward Turtle Flambeau Flowage Association activities. The resort is located just off of Iron County Hwy FF between Mercer and Butternut at 2974 Hiawatha Road, Butternut, WI 54514.
