Schools Continue Remote Learning and Closure Due to Cold Weather & COVID 19.

Students in the Watersmeet Township School District will continue remote learning due to cold weather in the area and ongoing COVID19 numbers. Students will stay at home til at least the 12th. The forecast for the next week is expected to see temperatures with the wind chill dropping to 30 to 50 below. Ontonagon county Schools will also continue virtual Learning through at Tuesday 2/9 Returning to in-person classes Feb. 10. No School today, in Hurley and weather will be monitored for the next few days to determine if its safe for school.
