Bids Authorized for Miners Memorial Park Fencing

Ironwood is one step closer to new fencing for Miners Memorial Heritage Park. According to the Daily Globe, the city commission approved authorizing bids for replacement fencing, including around the Jessieville elevated water storage tank. Commissioner Rick Semo, who is also president of the Friends of the Miners Park, said the funding for the fencing was generated from previous easement agreements to establish the park. The project has been in the city’s capital improvement plan for a few years now.
