A tire fell off a single-engine Pilatus PC-12 shortly before the plane’s arrival at O’Hare International Airport last week and ended up in a nearby neighborhood, authorities said. The plane was a Boutique Air flight originating from Ironwood. The landing gear was creating sparks on the left side of the aircraft as it landed but was able to taxi to a complete stop. It was later found that the plane’s left landing gear assembly was missing, None of the seven people on board, two crew members and five passengers, sustained injuries.
