Gogebic Community College has hired an assistant E-Sports coach. Aaron Froelich was officially hired during the regular meeting of the college board of trustees on Tuesday. Froelich also serves as the manager of Campus Suites, and has been a volunteer assistant coach for the esports program since August. Assistant coaches, under the direction of the head coach, develop practice schedules and other training sessions, train athletes to compete at their peak performance and fulfill other duties as assigned by their head coach to ensure the continued success of their athletic program. The position reports to the Head Coach.
