An accident involving a utility vehicle over the weekend has left one person dead and another hospitalized. The location of the accident was not given in the initial call for help. Deputies along with staff from several agencies began a search to try and locate the vehicle, when a passerby reported the utv to be on Trail 13 in Pence. Emergency responders and deputies arrived on the scene to find a UTV partially submerged off the trail. The Daily Globe reports it appeared the UTV slid off the roadway and overturned into the water. The male driver was transported by EMS from the scene. The female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation into the cause of the accident continues, alcohol is suspected to have been a factor. The couple has been identified as Vicki A. Bruneau, 60, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and her husband, David Bruneau.
