GasBuddy analyst Patrick DeHaan says higher oil prices coupled with the change to cleaner burning summer blends of gasoline and maintenance at refineries are combining to push the prices up. In fact many gas stations across the state are flirting with a $3 price tag per gallon. The state average is at two-dollars-79-cents. In Ironwood fuel can be found for 2.64 a gallon.
