Upper Peninsula Ski Resort Ranked Second Best In Nation

A new poll by USA Today finds Michigan has the second-best ski resort in the country.

Mount Bohemia on the far northern part of the Keweenaw Peninsula is the only resort east of the Rocky Mountains to be ranked. The newspaper notes the resort gets about 21 feet of snow a year on average and has some of the highest verticals and longest runs in the Midwest. Colorado’s Winter Park Resort came in at the top of the list.
